The Fredericksburg Area Iris Society is holding its
Annual Iris Sale - Saturday, August 7th
8am - 3pm (or until sold out) at our Fredericksburg nursery
 A huge variety of iris for sale!  Japanese, Siberian, Louisianas, and a variety of bearded iris in different heights. Prices range from $2 to $6.
All proceeds of this sale go to the Fredericksburg Area Iris Society (FAIS),
a nonprofit club, founded in 1984 by a group of dedicated iris lovers.

Mixing and matching plants within a container is half the fun of container gardening. When buying plants, keep in mind to match plants that prefer similar amounts of moisture and sunlight and buy spillers, thrillers & fillers for maximum aesthetic appeal.

A Trick Called "Deadheading"
Deadheading will not only encourage many more flowers it will create a longer bloom time. Remove the faded flowers from the plant by pinching off the flower head. Now the plant will spend its energy producing more flowers instead of going to seed!
